Why you shouldn’t miss the Delegate Dance! - Nishtha and Jigyasa

If you’re the kind of person who can’t resist dancing when the sound of music hits your ears then you certainly don’t want to miss the delegate dance! You might want to show off some moves while listening to the best hits of this year.  Nepal’s favorite – DJ BLACK – will be there to make your night lit! Whether it’s a romantic a song to sway to, some EDM to lose yourself into, a Shakira hit to move your hips to or your favorite Bollywood songs to groove to, the Delegate Dance is certainly the right place to be. Our very own amazing dancers from A-levels will be taking part in a (not anymore a surprise) performance so be sure to stay to at least check them out.

If not the dance and the music, then I’m sure the delicious food from Dhokaima both for Vegetarians and Non-Vegetarians will tempt your way to the event. If you study in RBS and have never tried food from Dhokaima, then it’ll be a matter of shame! And for the students that are not from RBS, trust me you’ll be coming all the way back here just for the food!

Let’s not get started on the ambience. There have been tons of non-dancers who couldn’t help but hit the dance floor all thanks to the movers and shakers! If you’re having a bad day then this event will be sure to lighten up your mood for maybe until the next MUN ;) And for the keen romantic delegates, you might want to quickly ask that special someone to groove along with you before they find another date! (Hint: Chocolate roses could help with that)

For all those people who aren’t big fans of all the MUN research, debate and discussions, this event is a must. It’ll certainly change your whole perspective about the RBS MUN which is probably “boring” to you. You might just find yourself coming back next year just for the delegate dance! You never know.

This event is definitely something to look forward to after a tedious or uninteresting day in committee. Trust good music and good food to make your day a whole lot better. We hope to see you there and trust us, you wouldn’t want to be the only one who missed the dance.
