Trust Issues (Nepal/India Cabinet) - Charavee

Every problem has a solution the Minister of Defense said. "We want relations to be the way it was in the 1950s."

The India-Nepal bilateral relations are at stake. On one hand, India desires to check the arms that pass through Indian soil. On the other hand, the Nepali cabinet feels that its government's sovereignty is being questioned.

The start is suffering from monotony.

(One hour later)

The pace has been picked up. More placards are being raised. More ideas are brought to the table.

(After lunch)

The mild, diplomatic debate has escalated to a fiery one when the Indian and the Nepali Cabinets were merged just like the calm before the storm. Participation is observed from both sides. The impact of stern, husky voices provoked the other to raise their voices even higher.

"Why should I when you are not?"

"If you don't trust our government..."

(Half An hour or so later)

Now, both nations are relying on the factor of trust. Articles of the Peace and Friendship between Nepal and India are being revised. Un-moderated caucuses are being held to amend the article so that both parties compromise and an expected consensus is reached successfully. The patriotic ministers who want what is best for their countries are willing to go all the way for it but compromise is key.
